It's a good idea to change yarn.

When you knit with a ball of yarn, it will eventually run out and you will need to start a new one.There are two possible ways to change knitting yarn.The stages needed to change knitting yarn is discussed in this article.

Step 1: Start at the beginning of a new row.

Start in the middle.An ugly knot can be seen in the center of your scarf.

Step 2: The old yarn has a 6 inch end.

Step 3: With your left hand, hold the yarn end and beginning 6 inches (15.2 cm) of the new yarn together.

Step 4: You should start knitting with yarn.

The first stitch is a bit loose and can be fixed later.

Step 5: The ends of the yarns need to be tied together in a small knot after 5 stitches.

Step 6: Continue knitting until the end of the row.

Step 7: If you want to change yarn in a different way, make a slipknot in the new yarn and pass it through the old yarn.

Step 8: To tighten the slipknot, slide the new yarn up to the base of the first stitch.

Now that you have a new ball of yarn, you can continue knitting.

Step 9: Take the yarn ends and weave them.

There are yarn tails on the side when you've finished knitting.It is easy to hide them.Attach the end of the yarn to the needle.Through the bumps at the side or back of the piece, weave the yarn with the needle.

Step 10: The yarn should be close to the end for a tidy finish.
