It's a good idea to set up the fingerprints on your phone.
The user can have an alternate security measure on their mobile devices with the help of fingerprints.The latest devices to have a fingerprint reader are the S5 and Note4.A notable device released earlier in the year, the One Max, has a fingerprint sensor.Users will be able to get into their devices with just a slide or tap of a registered finger, instead of using a screen or a password, if they set up the fingerprints on their device.
Step 1: You can open the settings.
You can access the notification panel by sliding down from the top of the screen.The settings icon can be found in the upper right corner of the panel.To open the settings menu, tap it.
Step 2: You can access the manager with the fingerprints.
There are a number of customization options in the settings menu.If you use a Note 4 or a galaxy S5 with a blue-colored circular background, you will see a fingerprint icon.
Step 3: You have to set up a fingerprints.
TheFingerprint Manager option can be found in the Finger Scanner menu.A list of fingerprints will be inside.If you tap on the plus icon in the upper right corner of the screen, a screen will show you how to use the home button.Each successful reading will turn the number in the row of indicators, which will change color with each successful detection, if you smudge your finger 8 times for S5 and 10 for Note 4.To register the desired fingerprints, you must complete 8–10 successful swipes.The device will say "Fingerprint registered" below the row of numbers once successfully registered.The S5 and Note 4 allow for up to 3 fingerprints to be registered.
Step 4: It's possible to try it.
The device can be unlocked using the fingerprints.Pressing the Power button in the upper right side of your device will allow you to access the lock screen.You can use your recently registered finger to move your finger over the home button.If the fingerprints were successfully detected, the device should enter the home screen.
Step 5: The fingerprints are scanned by the fingerprint scanner.
The back of the One Max is where the fingerprint sensor is located.The placement of the scanning device makes it easier to use with the index finger.
Step 6: Go to the settings menu.
The settings icon is a gear icon and can be used to access the menu.You can do this from the app drawer, which you can access by tapping on the Apps icon and looking for the Setting icon.
Step 7: You can open the option.
The "Fingerprint Scan" icon is located under the "Personal" section of the menu.If you have yet to set up a fingerprints, it will not ask for a scanned one.It will require you to use a registered finger to access the menu.
Step 8: You must register a new one.
To register a new finger, tap the plus icon with the text "Learn new fingerprint".When an introductory screen comes up, you can continue by pressing the Continue button at the lower right and tapping on one of the hands on the screen.The finger you selected should be smudged at the back four times.The device will vibrate when it is scanned.
Step 9: A function is assigned.
Now that you have registered a finger, you can set what the device will do.You can choose a specific app that will open after you if you tap on a circle opposite "Unlock," "Camera," or "Home."When you're done, tap "Apply" to finalize the setting.If the screen is locked, the fingerprints won't work.To get to the lock screen, you must first press the Power button, and then use your finger to touch the screen.
