Step 1: You can open the media player on your Mac.
Click the orange traffic cone icon in your Applications folder to open the program.

The upper- left corner of your screen has a button on it.It will open a menu.
Step 3: On the file menu, click Convert or Stream.
This will open a new window called "Convert & Stream."Command+S can be pressed on your keyboard.The Convert & Stream window will be opened by this shortcut.
Step 4: In the Convert & Stream window, you can open media.
You can select the video you want to convert by opening a new file explorer window.
Step 5: Select the file you want to convert.
Click the MOV video file you want to convert in the file explorer window.
Step 6: Under the Choose Profile heading, click Customize.
You can open a menu of file formats with this.
Step 7: The Encapsulation tab has AVI in it.
Click to confirm if the option is selected here.
Step 8: Under the ChooseDestination heading, click save as file.
You can save a copy of your converted file to your computer.
Step 9: You can click on the button to choose a destination.
You will be asked to choose a saving location for your video.
Step 10: There is a saving location for your file.
Click the folder where you want to save your video, and click on the bottom-right corner to confirm it.You can give your converted file a custom name here."Untitled" is the default file name.The field at the top of the pop-up window is where you can change it.
Step 11: You can save it by clicking the Save button.
This will allow you to save your video to a location of your choice.
Step 12: You can open the media player on your PC.

Step 13: The Media tab is on the left.
There is a menu bar in the upper- left corner of the window.It will open a menu.
Step 14: On the media menu, click Convert or Save.
This will open the file conversion tool in a new window.You can use the keyboard to open this window.
Step 15: The Add button can be found in the File Selection window.
You can select the file you want to convert by opening a new file explorer pop-up.
Step 16: Select the video file you want to convert.
Click the MOV file you want to convert in the file explorer window to confirm.
Step 17: The icon is next to the button.
There is a button in the lower-right corner.On the next page, you can choose a destination format and a saving location.
Step 18: The Convert option can be found in the settings section.
You can save your video file to your computer when this option is selected.
Step 19: The wrench-and-screwdriver icon is next to the Profile drop-down.
In the settings section, you can find this option.You can choose the video format you want to convert to.
Step 20: The Encapsulation tab has AVI in it.
Click to confirm if the option is checked.
Step 21: Click here to browse under the heading.
You can choose a saving location for your converted file.
Step 22: You can choose a saving location for your video.
To confirm that a folder is your saving location, click on the bottom-right corner of the file explorer window.You can give your converted file a custom name here.If you want to enter a name for your file, click the field.
