After each of the five daily prayers, Muslims perform a ritual known as dhikr.repeating Allah's name is a form of remembrance. The most common dhikr involves repeating Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu akbar. You can keep track of your dhikr by using a string of prayer beads.
Step 1: After salah, remembrance of Allah can be achieved.
After each of the 5 prayers, form dhikr. In a group with other Muslims, you can recite dhikr. It is performed at dawn, midday, the late part of the afternoon, and between sunset and midnight.
Step 2: As you perform dhikr, think about nothing except God.
If you want to clear your mind of both positive and negative thoughts, you need to think of God.When you have achieved this state, begin to perform dhikr.Remove yourself from any task that may distract you.If you want to stay focused, try to perform dhikr in a quiet place.
Step 3: Start by saying "Subhanallah" 33 times.
You can keep track of how many times you say Subhanallah by using a misbaha, a string of prayer beads.Subhanallah is pronounced sbhnl.
Step 4: Say the word "Alhamdulillah" 33 times.
As soon as you finish Subhanallah for the 33rd time, begin saying Alhamdulillah.Pronounce it as: alhamdul. The same method of counting is used to keep track of how many times you say Alhamdulillah.
Step 5: You have to say "Allahu akbar" 34 times.
Allahu akbar is the third phrase you should repeat after the prayers. You can either say Allahu akbar aloud or silently. The Arabic word for "Allahu akbar" is pronounced "lhu akb".You can finish the dhikr by saying "Laa ilaaha illallaah wahdahu laa shareekalahu"He doesn't have a partner with him.He is the sovereignty and the praise, and he is omnipotent.
Step 6: Track your count with your thumb and fingers.
Turn your hand to look at your palm. You will mark your count on your fingers and thumb with your thumb. While using your left hand, it is normal to use your right hand.
Step 7: You can find the segments on your fingers.
If you look at your palm, you will see that there are 3 segments. You can use these segments to keep track of your count. If you have a missing finger, you can either use your left hand or change the method of counting.
Step 8: The bottom segment of your pinkie finger is where you should begin your count.
To touch the bottom segment of your pinkie finger, use your thumb.Move your thumb up to the middle segment of your pinkie finger when you repeat Subhanallah.Touch the top segment of your pinkie finger when you say Subhanallah for the third time. When you begin to recite Allahu akbar, you will repeat this step.
Step 9: Continue until you have counted down your pinkie finger.
Touch the top segment of your pinkie when you say Subhanallah for the fourth time. When you reach the bottom segment of your pinkie finger, count down.By the end of this step, you will have used your pinkie to count 6 recitations of the phrase Subhanallah. You will repeat this step when you say Allahu akbar.
Step 10: On your other fingers, repeat the first two steps.
Continue counting on your ring finger when you reach the bottom of your pinkie finger.Next, move on to your index and middle fingers. Each finger can be used to count 6 Subhanallah recitations.By the time you reach the bottom of your index finger the second time, you will have read Subhanallah 24 times.
Step 11: You can count 9 recitations on your thumb with your index finger.
Just like you did for each finger, start at the bottom segment of your thumb and count 6 recitations, moving up and then down. When you reach the bottom of your thumb, count 3 more recitations. You will have to recite Subhanallah 33 times if you count 9 recitations on your thumb.
Step 12: You can find a string of beads to simplify your count.
Using a string of 33 beads known as subha or misbaha will allow you to easily cycle through your prayers.Count the number of Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu akbar by using each bead.amber, black coral, wood, ivory, and pearl are some of the materials used to make prayer beads. You can choose from a range of colors, including golden brown, turquoise, blue, yellow, and white.
Step 13: You can touch 1 bead for each Subhanallah.
The strand of prayer beads should be held in one hand or both hands. You can use your thumb to cycle through the beads. As you read Subhanallah, remember to clear your mind of all thoughts except those of God.
Step 14: You can cycle through your strand of beads 2 more times.
Count through the 33 beads for a second time when you recite Alhamdulillah.Do the same thing as you say Allahu akbar 33 times. You will have counted through your strand of prayer beads 3 times by the end of this step. After you have finished cycling through your strand of prayer beads for the 3rd time, you can say Allahu akbar.
