Kirkland Signature Malbec is a Winner for $7.

Here is the last label for the Kirkland Malbec; I like them both.I wish the juice inside would improve a bit.I have never really connected with this wine offering.

This bottle is hard to review because it is only $6.99.When you go up another $5-$7 dollars, the wines get much better, but now you have doubled the price, there isn't a lot of great wine in that range to compare it to.

The previous vintages feel a lot like this new one.My notes on the last we reviewed are going to be almost the same. This is a very light and weak wine.I am not getting a lot of joy on the finish this year.

Can you get away with this for an easy mid-week meal with some spaghetti and meatballs?Yes, of course. It is a red table wine.

The head winemaker at Trapiche is listed on the back of the label, so it is pretty clear where this wine came from.I haven't had Trapiche in a while, but have always felt it was a tier below other names, like Catena andNorton.

For a few bucks more, they are both available at Costco.I am going down a point to 85.I didn't dig this wine as much as I wanted, and would like to see an improvement in the future.
