Lake guardians is a community-driven Pokemon game.
The legendary trio residing in the three lakes of Sinnoh are referred to as the lake guardians.They are supposed to represent knowledge, emotion, and willpower.The Yata no Kagami is based on the Imperial Regalia of Japan.The names come from fantasy creatures.You, me, and us are personal pronouns, as are the other parts of their names.
Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf are believed to be the master of the universe and were given the ability to control Dialga and Palkia whenever they were angry.According to one of Azelf's entries, all three of them were born from the same Egg.
Humans were taught the ability to feel emotions, knowledge, and willpower by the Lake Guardians.Three lakes in Sinnoh are said to be home to the Lake guardians.The Lake Guardian are known to drive humans away from them by either wiping their memories or losing their emotions within a few days.
Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf live in the caverns at the center of Sinnoh's three commonly known lakes.Turnback Cave is a secret fourth lake and houses a portal to the Distortion World.
In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, Team Galactic tries to capture the lake guardians.Team Galactic drain the lake by blowing it up with a bomb.The player needs to go to the lake first.Team Galactic captured Azelf despite losing to the player.Mars is leading the operation and easily holding off Professor Rowan and Lucas.Team Galactic was able to capture Mesprit despite the player defeating Mars.By the time the player arrives, Jupiter has defeated Barry and captured Uxie.
Cyrus used the lake guardians to create the Red Chain so that he could control Dialga and/or Palkia.Cyrus uses his technology to duplicate the Red Chain in Platinum so that he can control both Dialga and Palkia.
In Diamond and Pearl, the lake guardians come to the Spear Pillar when Cyrus summons DialgaD or PalkiaP and destroy the Red Chain he is using to control it, as their combined power is equal to that of one of the creation trio.Cyrus can't create a new world without spirit.They return to their lakes after doing so.
In Platinum, the lake guardians come to the Spear Pillar to try to balance out the power of Dialga and Palkia, but they can only balance one of the two.In order to prevent them from being destroyed, the Distortion World was merged with the real world at the Spear Pillar.The lake guardians and Cyrus entered the Distortion World.Inside the Distortion World, the lake guardians help the player with the Strength puzzle.
The three lake guardians can be found after the defeat of Team Galactic.There is a Coronet.Uxie and Azelf can be caught in the caverns of their lakes, however, when they encounter Mesprit in its cave, it flies off and roams the region.
After defeating the Champion, the player can encounter Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf at the Cave of Being, which will cause them to fly off to various places in Unova.Outside of the Nacrene Museum, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf can be found, all of which are initially invisible.At level 65, they are encountered.
The lake trio can be captured at Nameless Cavern, but only if there are three or more friends in the party.Depending on the time of day, only one member appears at a time.From 4:00 am - 7:59 pm, Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf appear.

Pikachu, Piplup, and Croagunk were able to break the gems because they were free from Team Galactic's control.They helped Ash and his friends stop the effects of Dialga and Palkia.
The lake guardians all have a connection to the Sinnoh holders Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.
