Step 1: You can insert the MagicJack Plus device into your computer.
Step 2: Using a phone cable, connect your phone to the MagicJack Plus device.
Within four minutes, your computer will detect MagicJack Plus.Double-clicking on the MagicJack Plus icon on your Home screen or desktop will start the installation.
Step 3: Click on the button labeled "Click Here Now" and follow the on-screen instructions to register your MagicJack Plus.
You will need to create a login, accept the MagicJack Plus terms of service, and give personal information such as your name and email address.
Step 4: Wait for MagicJack Plus to send you an activation code after you register.
You have to use your phone to enter the code for MagicJack Plus.
Step 5: If you follow the instructions in the email, you will be able to use the service.
You can use MagicJack Plus at any time if the device is plugged into your computer and the computer is powered on.
Step 6: The MagicJack Plus device can be inserted into the power adapter.
Step 7: The MagicJack Plus can be connected to the Internet with an ethernet cable.
The port labeled "Internet" must be plugged into the ethernet cable.
Step 8: You can use a phone cable to connect your phone to the MagicJack Plus.
The phone cable needs to be plugged into a port.
Step 9: Attach the MagicJack Plus to a power source.
Step 10: You can register for MagicJack Plus on any computer or mobile device at www.magicjack.com/register.
The MagicJack Plus must be connected to the same network.
Step 11: Follow the on-screen instructions to register your MagicJack Plus.
You can be asked to provide personal information such as your name, address, and contact information.
Step 12: Wait for MagicJack Plus to send you an activation code after you register.
You have to use your phone to enter the code for MagicJack Plus.
Step 13: To use the activation code, follow the instructions in the email.
MagicJack Plus can be used to make telephone calls.
Step 14: If you get error 3002 when trying to use MagicJack Plus, you should contact your internet service provider.
If multiple devices are connected to your network, some modems and modem/routers-in-one may not be compatible with MagicJack Plus.
Step 15: If your computer fails to detect and recognize the MagicJack Plus device, try using a new cable, a different port or computer.
Problems with installation can be caused by faulty hardware.
Step 16: If that doesn't work, try disabling your firewall.
In some cases, strict firewall settings can cause problems.
