Make Berry Icing.
Berry icing is a delicious way to top a cake or cupcake with different flavors.Berry icing can be made with preserves or fresh berries.
Step 1: If you haven't already softened the butter, do so.
To make it softer, stand at room temperature.
Step 2: The softened butter, liquid, preserves, and icing/powdered sugar can be placed in the bowl.
Step 3: Put the ingredients in a container with a fork.
It should be light and fluffy.
Step 4: Spread across the cake or cupcake.
Step 5: Place the frozen berries in the saucepan.
Add some water and sugar.
Step 6: The saucepan needs to be placed over medium heat.
Remove the berries and sugar from the sauce.It will take around a quarter of an hour.
Step 7: Take out the heat.
To remove seeds, strain the liquid through a strainer.
Step 8: Allow the temperature to cool a bit.
Add the icing and sugar.Allow a smooth icing mixture to form.
Step 9: You can spread on the cake or cupcake.
Step 10: The fresh berries should be pushed through a sieve or strainer.
You can push the berries with a wooden spoon or your fingers if you capture the liquid in a bowl.The seeds will be removed.
Step 11: The icing/powdered sugar should be put in a mixing bowl.
Step 12: Continue to fold in the berry purée.
It's a good idea to combine well.Slow down the addition of the berry purée and work through the lumps if there are any.
Step 13: Continue whisking until you get a smooth paste.
It will be spread on a cake or cupcake.
