Milanesa is a dish consisting of thin slices of veal, beef or chicken which have been dipped into an egg wash and seasoned with salt, parsley and garlic and topped with tomato and cheeseIt's a popular dish in many countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Paraguay, Peru, and Mexico.There are many different interpretations of the same thing.
Step 1: Pick up your ingredients.
You'll need 1-2 lbs beef, chicken or veal, cut no more than 1/2 inch thick, 2 eggs, milk, bread crumbs and parsley.
Step 2: An egg wash is created by whisking the eggs and milk.
Allow the eggs to fully combine with the milk.
Step 3: The bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper are in a different bowl.
It's up to you if you want your Milanesa to be garlic-y, cheesy, or peppery.
Step 4: The crumb mixture should be mixed with the egg wash.
Depending on how many mouths you have to feed, cut up the meat into 8 or so sections.It will be easier to eat.If you didn't get the meat tenderized, you should throw it on the stove.
Step 5: In a large skillet, set the heat to 1/2.
The steaks should be brown for a few minutes.Don't crowd them, but put as many as you want.When they're crisp and brown, the steaks should be cooked through on both sides.If you keep the steaks warm in the oven, they will all be ready to serve at the same time.
Step 6: Rest on paper towels and then put them in a baking sheet.
You can put that baby in the oven if you have more cooking to do.Transfer to a plate for enjoying if you're done.Top the steaks with tomato and cheese once they're assembled.If they're not warm enough, put them in the oven for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.Place lemon wedges on top of the drink.
Step 7: Put your ingredients together.
You'll need a cut of beef, chicken, or fish of no more than 1/2 inch thick, 2 eggs, and a cup of breadcrumbs.
Step 8: Put your egg mixture in a container.
Beat your eggs with a spoon.Add salt to your chopped garlic.Go nuts for garlic-y, salty, dish if you like it.There is a starting point for salt.
Step 9: The steak should be dipped.
First with the egg mixture and then the breadcrum.The crumbs should surround the steak evenly.If they aren't sticking on certain places, add on more of your egg mixture.
Step 10: A frying pan can be used.
Fry your steak on a med-low heat until it shows a golden color.This will take a long time.If the stove isn't your thing, place it in the oven on low and bake.Continue to bake until melted.
Step 11: It's time to serve it up.
You can serve it with white rice.It's good to have fries, salad, mashed potatoes and vegetables.You can top it with a lemon or lime wedge.
