Menu, prices, take out, and delivery are available at Trejo's Cantina in Woodland Hills.
Is it still open in the morning for donuts? The place is locked up with no lights on when I stopped by at 8:05am on Tuesday.I was trying to surprise my coworkers.
When it opened in LA, it was packed and they had a long line.I didn't like the location that I tried out.The pia & canela combo made the margarita not great. The food was okay but not crazy. The restaurant should use different serving plates because they felt like dog bowls to me.I expected more from them.On National Donut Day, the donut shop was closed.Maybe I'll give the other location a try next time.
I've never had better chips or salsa. They love their fried chicken burrito. One of my favorite places!
From Blood in Blood Out, Machete, or Bad Ass.I've been trying to get to this place for a long time.I was not disappointed when I came through with my family. There were some delicious options for my diet at this place. They were generous with the alcohol and the churros.Oh my gosh!It was melted...I said it was melted when eaten. They only serve their donuts during the week. You can be here in the morning.I like the breakfast burrito.I will be a regular here.
Danny shouldn't put his name on this chain.I wonder if he's aware that his business partners are charging an arm and a leg for a generic (at best) burrito, or that they are portioning their $4 SALSA in 3 ounce pours for delivery orders. You should go to Sharky's down the road. They have a better attitude, their food tastes better, and they don't treat their salsa like caviar, portioning it out for paying customers in 2 ounce pours. You can get as much as you want from the bar for free.Danny and his associates need to change their model. We will not be back until they do.
They have vegan options. They're pretty good. The food was good and the tortilla was falling apart, but that's to be expected when you order food for delivery. Can't wait to check out the place and try the cauliflower taco.
I will get right to it.The carnitas burrito was decent but the service was bad.No one stopped by our table to ask if I wanted a refill after I paid $3.00 for a flat fountain root beer.At the end of our meal, my friend and I asked someone for some water. He poured a pitcher of water into the glasses that had root beer and Sprite in them. When I told him that he was pouring water into my root beer glass, he laughed and said, "It's like when you were a kid and you mixed all of the fountain soft drinks in one glass."He could not have cared less.I won't be rushing back even though the restaurant is in my office complex.
Last Sat night I went to Trejo's Cantina to get the best damn margaritas in town.To die for.Awesome food.Chef Mike is the best. The night was sweet as pie for being nice to my husband. It's hard to see from the street, but you can pass by without thinking.Glad I did.A hidden Mexican treasure!
I only give 5 stars to the food and service. It's hard to find a clean meal and I think they use fresh ingredients. My husband would think I made it if I took their salad, bowls or taco home and put it on our kitchen table. On the other hand, it's very expensive.I don't like spending money on food.I can't complain because you get what you pay for. This spot is definitely worth a visit. This place would be very successful if they did more specials.
Service is good. The food is terrible.PopCORN was on the elotes.PopCORN?This garbage was hit with popcorn.A person ate this. This should be added to the menu.Over priced is borderline inedible.I ordered desert hoping it would save the meal, but it was all out of bread pudding.Only flour tortillas, no corn?Mexican food??
We love Trejo's.We had chicken, chicken tikka masala, falafel, and jackfruit and they were amazing. Each one was better than the last. The server was very helpful and friendly, and we highly recommend this place.
