Money can be folded into a flower.

Knowing how to fold money into flowers is a good way to amuse yourself or give a gift. You can either display the flowers in vases or add money leis. You can fill a bowl with flowers and make a bunch of money. You are bound to impress your family and friends.

Step 1: There are 3 crisp dollar bills.

They can be any denominations, but they need to be crisp. You won't be able to see the folds on your bills if they are wrinkled or old.

Step 2: Put a crease down the width of the bill.

Take a bill and put it in a horizontal position, with the portrait facing right-way-up.Bring the narrow ends of the bill together.Run your finger along the folded edge to make a crease. This crease will be referred to as the vertical crease. If your bill doesn't have a portrait on it, choose one side to be the front.

Step 3: To get to the vertical crease, fold the side edges a third of the way.

The narrow side edges should be brought towards the center of the bill.If you want to sharpen the crease, run your fingernail along the fold, then repeat this step for the other narrow side edge.Don't unfold the bill. You can make shorter petals by folding the edges closer to the center.

Step 4: Go down the length of the bill and unfold it.

Bring the top and bottom edges of the bill together. To unfold the bill, run your fingernail along the crease. The narrow side edges should be folded. This crease will be referred to as the horizontal crease.

Step 5: The corners should be brought towards the horizontal crease.

The crease in the center of the bill can be touched by folding the top and bottom corners down.Run your finger across the folded edges.

Step 6: The top and bottom edges should be folded towards the horizontal crease.

The center of the bill should be brought down towards the crease.Pick up the fold with your finger, then repeat the process for the long, bottom edge.

Step 7: To narrow the strip, fold it in half.

Bring the 2 long edges together, then run your finger along the folded edge to make it sharper. The folded edges and corners should be inside the bill. This is the last part of your first flower.

Step 8: The process should be repeated with the remaining bills.

The bills should be facing in the same direction. If you are using American money, you should put the president's face on the front of the petals.

Step 9: Make sure that the petals are facing the same way by stacking them together.

Stack the petals on top of each other. The pointed ends match up if the folded edges are all aligned.

Step 10: Wrap the floral wire around the petals.

There is a piece of floral wire.Wrap it around the middle of the petals 2 to 3 times.Make sure that the stem is next to the folded edge of the petals by twisting the wire together. The crease should still be seen from the very first step. It's a good place guide for the wire.Thin beading wire, string, or even a pipe cleaner can be used if you can't find floral wire. The wire must be sticking out of the petals. The flower won't turn out if it's sticking out of the open edge or flat side edge.

Step 11: To create a flower shape, flatten the petals.

The petals can be separated to make a shape. The side with the stem and folded edges should be on the bottom of the flower. To create wedge-like shapes from the petals, open them and flatten them.

Step 12: Give the flower as a gift or use it for something else.

The excess wire can be trimmed with wire cutters.Attach the flower to a birthday card with tape, or use a pin to turn it into a corsage. The possibilities are endless.

Step 13: There are 3 crisp dollar bills.

They can be any of the denominations you want. They need to be crisp, with as little wrinkling as possible. You won't be able to see the creases that you'll be making for guides if the bills are mangled.

Step 14: The bow-tie was created by fan folding the center of the bill 5 times.

From the center of the bottom edge, fan-fold the bill 5 times until you reach the top edge. The bow-tie shape can be created by sharpening the center of the bill.It doesn't matter which side of the bill you are facing. The portrait or number should be facing the right way.

Step 15: To hold its shape, Pinch the center of the bill.

The center should be given a slight pinch once you have the bow-tie.The bow-tie will hold its shape while you make the other petals.

Step 16: The process should be repeated for the other bills.

Make sure the bills are facing the same way.If you make your first bow-tie with the front of the bill, then make the rest with it as well.

Step 17: The bills should be stacked on top of each other.

Orient the bills in different ways so that you can see them. You could have a horizontal, vertical, and diagonal bill.

Step 18: Wrap a piece of wire around the center of the stack.

There is a piece of green floral wire.Wrap it a few times around the middle of the stack, making sure to go between different petals with each wrap. The wire should not be in the bottom of the stack.

Step 19: Put the bills into the petals.

You have something that looks like a pom- pom.The little flaps of paper should be moved away from the green stem.Just like on a real rose, use your fingers to push out the bottom of thepetals to form a cup shape.

Step 20: To form a tube, Curl the edges of the innermost petal.

The bill should be on the inside of the rose.Curl the left and right sides of the petals to form a tube. This is the center of the rose.

Step 21: Wrap the excess wire around the skewer and place the rose on top of it.

Put the rose on top of the skewer.Wrap the wire around the skewer to keep it out of the rose.

Step 22: If you want, add some silk leaves to the skewer.

A pack of silk wired leaves can be purchased from the floral section of a craft store. They are shaped like rose leaves.Wrap the wire stem around the skewer to secure it.Use 2 to 3 leaves. It's up to you how far apart they are.To make them look realistic, bend the leaves down and away from the skewer.

Step 23: Wrap green florist's tape around the skewer.

To cover the skewer, overlap the tape slightly with each wrap.Wrap the tape around the base of the rose and then cut or tear off the rest.If you feel that the tape layer is too thin, repeat this step.florist's tape can be used to secure 2 to 3 more petals under the rose blossom. You can use green washi tape if you can't find green florist's tape.

Step 24: To create a realistic rose, Curl the corners of the petals downward.

The petals have 2 corners, creating a shape.Curl those under to make your rose look more real.Wrap a corner around the skewer and hold it under a flower.Except for the center rosebud tube, do this for all of the petals.Curl the corners downwards, not upwards. The closer you get to the center, the tighter the petals should be.You can loosen the curls if they are too tight.

Step 25: If you want more roses, give them away as a gift.

You can tie a matching ribbon around the stems of the bouquet in a fancy way.
