My computer keeps shutting down on its own.
"Windows is now shutting down", out of the blue, right?
My computer is shutting down on its own.It started about 2 months ago, but doesn't do it every day.I would like to know why.Every Thursday, I use automatic updates and scans for Viruses. It shut down on me twice today. Please help me?!
There is no way to be certain, but my strong guess is that it is a hardware problem, not a Windows issue.
I suspect overheating, power supply problem, inadequate power from the outlook, and bad RAM.
I didn't know what to say, so I apologized to chaos.I hope the problem is overheating. My brother-in-law cleaned the inside for me.It was really dirty, so I'm hopin' that will help.It has been a while since the inside was cleaned.
How did he clean it?The proper way to blow out the insides was to take it outdoors and use a can of compressed air.Do not use a vacuum cleaner that can cause a static electricity discharge.
I just bought a dell with Window 8 and it shuts down on its own while I'm on the internet.TheNorton is displaying a high message. This was never on an old computer.
