My computer keeps shutting down on its own.

"Windows is now shutting down", out of the blue, right?

My computer is shutting down on its own.It started about 2 months ago, but doesn't do it every day.I would like to know why.Every Thursday, I use automatic updates and scans for Viruses.It shut down on me twice today.Please help me?!

There is no way to be certain, but my strong guess is that it is a hardware problem, not a Windows issue.

I suspect overheating, power supply problem, inadequate power from the outlook, and bad RAM.

I didn't know what to say, so I apologized to chaos.I hope the problem is overheating.My brother-in-law cleaned the inside for me.It was really dirty, so I'm hopin' that will help.It has been a while since the inside was cleaned.

How did he clean it?The proper way to blow out the insides was to take it outdoors and use a can of compressed air.Do not use a vacuum cleaner that can cause a static electricity discharge.
