Neulasta® is a prescription medicine used to help reduce the chance of infections due to a low white blood cell count in people with certain types of cancer.
Neulasta® has been used to help reduce the risk of infections for more than 15 years.Most patients use Neulasta® Onpro® to get their dose at home instead of going to the doctor's office.*
Neulasta® helped protect against the risk of infections in a study of 928 patients with breast cancer.Only 1% of patients got infections when they were treated with Neulasta®.Patients who were not treated with Neulasta® were more likely to be hospitalized.
A study of patients with different types of cancer showed that Neulasta® patients were more likely to stay on their treatment than patients who did not receive a white blood cell booster.
It is the most common side effect of Neulasta.Discuss this or any other side effect with your doctor.
You should immediately contact your healthcare provider if you believe you did not receive your full dose of Neulasta or if your on-body injection is malfunctioning.
