In a statement, a CBS spokesman claimed that the initial plans for the character weren't compatible with the limited part-time schedule that Esposito could only commit to.On her social media account, Esposito spoke out against the CBS statement.The actress said that she was let go from the series because the TV network barred her from working elsewhere because they put her on leave and she needed a reduced schedule due to her condition.
