Nintendo support says the controller won't sync with Wii.
I was very happy.I whispered yes as I threw my hands in the air.I also have a Wii U.
How do I keep track of my controller?I didn't have any lights on my control.I also have new batteries. There are several sets. Please help.
Same here.I have the Rock Candy remotes that come with the original Wii, but I couldn't get mine to work.
2.The battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote can be removed if you want to sync it up.There is a small door near the disc drive slot.
3.The player on the Wii Remote will blink if you press and release the SYNC button. The SYNC button is located on the inside of the console.
4.The sync is complete when the player blinks. The player number is indicated by the light that illuminates it.
You could try this. You can connect by pressing the red button. It should start flashing around 30 seconds or so.To find it, open the flap under the reset button and press the red button. If you press 1 and 2 at the same time 10 times, you can make it work by pressing the power button on the left side of the remote. For more information, visit http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems...
I've tried all the steps but can't make it work.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.
The Wii console can be unplugged from the power cord. The Wii has a power back up turn.To sync your remote, follow the normal steps. The red button is on the Wii.The first time I tried it, it worked for me.I have no idea why.
Turn on the Wii.Press A to the main menu.If you don't have a remote yet, you should continue to the next step.
The red sync button is under the battery door. You can see which player the remote has become by looking at the lights.
Each time you change consoles that you are playing, you will need to resync your remote. Some remotes are only used on another console.
If you do this and it doesn't work, you can plug the console back in and try to sync again, but you have to remove the power cord for a few minutes.
Thank you so much.I followed the suggestions of others. We have controllers for Family Game Night. Thanks again.
The remote sensor bar can be cleaned with a screen cleaning cleaner and cloth.
One of the non working Wii units won't sync no matter what I do.I replaced the board I bought from Ebay because of the hardware problem.
I had another Wii that didn't have a display. This was fixed by replacing the module.
I couldn't get my Wii Remote to re-sync after lying around for a year with dead batteries. The home button menu didn't work with the red sync button.New batteries didn't help.
I re-synced the Wii Remote with the red sync button after removing the batteries.
