How is this business opening again? What safety measures are being taken? Are they offering sit-down dining?
We ate on the patio a few weeks ago and it was nice. The staff wore masks. There are many tables set far apart.I felt safe.It was nice to finally get out and live life.If your healthy with no... more.
How is this business doing? Are they offering delivery or takeout?Right now, anything else to note about them?
Delivery and take out are offered. They are only open from 4-7:30 on Wednesday through Sunday and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.I got a text that they are open, I'm 12 to 7 now.
My family and I celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary this past Saturday. It was a great experience. There were three different tables outside for my family of 3, my sister's family, and my parents' family. This worked well for us because most of us are not fully vaccine free. The staff was very accommodating and even gave out a cupcake with decorations. The server was great.I think that's her name, because the name on our receipt was "Olivia".She took a picture of our family after lunch, since we haven't been together for over a year.I cleaned muni home before I handed it to her.The food and drinks were good.We knew this was where Mrs. Doubtfire was filmed. The experience was five star.Thank you, Bridges!
There are standard American fairs.Nothing disappointing.Highly recommend the lettuce and cups. One star off for our server coming back telling us what we wanted is not available (from vegetable to beer) not sure if it's because of limited inventory due to covid but we are a party of 4 and each of us had asked for something and they didn't have it
There was some confusion about being allowed to bring our own cake for the birthday when we set our reservation. We were told by a couple people that we could bring our own cake, but when my mom called again, she was told we weren't allowed to because we already bought cupcakes.Everyone would need to find either street parking or drive in through the back way to get a parking space. It didn't help that no one was in front at the entrance because a few of our party walked past the restaurant a number of times without even realizing it.Some of their indoor dining is being used, but at a minimum. The outdoor dining is nice, but our party was feeling a little miserable from the heat, so we ordered 3 different starters. All of them were very good. The loco moco was cooked too much for my liking, so I probably would have been ok with just those.I thought about asking for it to be medium rare, but I didn't think they'd use it too much.I liked the rice and the egg.The dish was not as good as I had hoped. The gravy had a nice consistency with grilled onions, but I felt the flavor wasn't very memorable. I also ordered the Fuzzy Navel, which was weak for my first order.Service was fine, my second fuzzy navel had a stronger kick. There were no major complaints.Considering we're sitting in 90F heat and they were friendly, I thought the water could have been filled more frequently. My mom liked them so much that she gave them cupcakes and a 25% tip.
We decided to go back to Bridges for lunch on a weekend since the weather was nice. They partitioned our table off from the other tables and it was a nice experience to dine there. The food wasn't as good.Fried Brussel Sprouts was absolutely delicious and we ordered it.They had quite a bit of oil, but it was delicious and the flatbread was terrible. The flatbread was tasteless and cold. The squash was not very good.I sent it back after taking one bite. The salmon salad was well done and it was requested.Another disappointment! The bottle of Honig Sauv Blanc can't mess that one up, but they need to get it together with the execution of their food. The layout and atmosphere of the restaurant are what the stars are for on this trip.
We had lunch at Bridges for the first time over the weekend. They had nice seating on their patio, as well as tables on the street and sidewalk. We were able to get a table on the patio and it was nice, the tables were perfect spacing and the space was very private. They painted the sheets of plywood dark grey and put barriers between the seating areas. The server was attentive and not intrusive, and he took great care of us.Their service has always been excellent. The new "dine in" menu has a different menu on the weekend. We started with delicious edamame starter, Cheeseburger med rare, and Pork Tenderloin salad. This was a great experience and will definitely return to eat outside in the summer.
We've been to Bridges many times. We came for lunch. On a warm day, the place is very relaxing. The server was professional and friendly and we sat outside. The poke salad my husband had was amazing. There is a salad with ahi andavocado. The fried chicken was on top of the salad. The romaine lettuce was old and the chicken was dry.I will not order that again.I saw that she had the same chicken at the next table. It looked the same.We have been to this place many times and have not been disappointed. It's just a relaxing place to eat and have a meal.I don't think they should be dinged on just one dish.
The last time I reviewed the Bridges was six years ago, to celebrate a job promotion. They seem to have a menu with a lot of meat and fish.I went for a Doordash dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday after seeing pork chop and roasted chicken on the menu.Albatross was closed for dinner the other night as we had Piatti. The dinner from Bridges was not up to par.1.The delivery order came quickly. It's a good thing, but it could also mean that the restaurant is busy or the food was cooked too quickly. It takes bone-in pork chops a while. The porkchop had a lightly fried crust. My wife saw that the outer edge was not as shiny as the center edge.We have to nuke it in the microwave. The meat wasn't very good. The couscous that came as a side had some sweet flavors from the port wine reduction, but was still on the dry side.2 stars.I was expecting a stronger flavor with Shio Koji roasted chicken. The chicken was bland and the white meat was dry.Their mac and cheese was decent.Overall, 2 stars.Dinner was a miss but I scored other points to cheer up the wife on her birthday: afternoon flower delivery, dessert delivery from Brioche de Paris.Selecting a funny movie to watch.
We came here to celebrate a promotion. There is a free parking valet in front of the restaurant. The restaurant had an open kitchen and a nice bar area.I started with a desert mule, which is very similar to a mojito except they use ginger beer as the base.It was very refreshing and strong. The baby lettuce salad was made with sliced Asian pear, candied walnuts, and blue cheese. It was very crisp and fresh.I had a five-star entree - Seared ahi with garlic forbidden rice. The fish was cooked well.Rice had a bit of crunch on the outside but was soft inside with an amazing garlic mayo sauce. The pork Porterhouse had mushroom-polenta.It was a good portion but had a lot of fat on the perimeter. We asked for a sharper knife because she had a hard time cutting it.The knives at Bridges are more like bread knives than steak knives. The meat was cooked medium and had a good flavor.Polenta was very good. She gave her dish three stars. The Frangelico chocolate cake with cinnamon praline ice cream was very decadent with elements of sweet and spicy. The food came out fast and the service was great. We won't order anything that requires a knife.
We came to celebrate my birthday. We initially made reservations at some of the best restaurants in the area, but they were canceled due to the current fires. If it was good enough for Mrs. Doubtfire, we decided to go to Bridges. The restaurant was not busy on Monday. The patio at the restaurant was extended to the parking lot.The tables were 6 feet apart and the staff wore masks.Every table had hand sanitizer. The outdoor dining experience was special because it was nice. The waitress was attentive and friendly. We ordered chicken lettuce wraps and truffle fries. The fries were well salted. One of the best fries I've ever had!The lettuce wraps were delicious. The cocktails we ordered were sweet and refreshing.I like the Cachaca Cooler. The pork chop was ordered by both of us.The pork chop was delicious. It had a nice sesame flavor to it.The pear compliment the flavor. The puréed potatoes that came with the dish were very good. The chocolate molten lava cake was decadent and we ordered it for dessert.I received a cupcake for my birthday. There was a plate with "Happy Birthday" written on it.I had a great experience at Bridges and would definitely return to try other items on their menu.
We had gift cards to Bridges from a wedding gift and were hoping to use them.We decided to treat ourselves to some delicious takeout because we were unable to.They had a delicious take out menu.We ordered a burger with fries, chicken, lettuce, and steak.Everything was packed well and delicious. We ordered a lot of food because of our gift card and plan on eating the rest of it.We live out of the way and everything we ate was great. It was all great when we got home. They also have to drink. You should come here when you want to spend a lot. They have a menu on their website and it was easy to order.I loved the aioli and the fries. In the past we have hosted my mother's retirement and my fathers birthday here, and have had amazing experiences planning with the restaurant.I hope that we can support them in the future when everything opens up again.
I had a really good lunch for my dad today. The food was amazing. The sauce was decadent. The tables are separated and the outdoor setup is nice. They have a lot of heat lamps. They gave my dad a cupcake.
This place isn't good. The service is bad, the food is ok, and the prices are high.I had a bad experience. The waiter showed up at least 5 times. The menu is limited, the steak was good, and I ate most of my dessert without the coffee I ordered. The dessert wasn't very good. The coffee was cold when it arrived. He took it off the bill for 2 bucks.I usually give him a generous tip, but he got a small one.Not going back. One of the best restaurants in the Bay Area used to be here. They are no longer famous and now offer shit service and good food.It was really too bad.
My wife, myself and another couple had dinner last night. They get good reviews. It might be too much of a hassle with a limited dinner menu, but you would think they would offer a few options. They liked the salmon that we ordered. The gojuchang chicken I ordered was terrible. My wife agreed when she tried a bite.It was a terrible flavor and a bit undercooked, but you can't eat service. We tried it but it was done for us.
