Take the parking voucher to the cashier when you arrive.You don't need to leave your voucher in your car or exit the zoo with it.There is no need for members to visit the Membership booth to process their parking vouchers.
Between the hours of 10:30am to 2:00pm, our limited parking fills quickly due to the popularity of the Zoo.You may not be able to park on the Zoo grounds if you arrive between these hours.Guests are encouraged to take public transportation, ride-share services, or arrive early morning or after 2pm to alleviate traffic and parking challenges around the Zoo.
If, upon your arrival, parking is at capacity and you are directed to park outside Zoo grounds, please be courteous and respectful of our neighbors.Don't litter or park your vehicle on the road.Caution should be used when on foot when the sidewalks are not available.We will try to provide shuttle service from the Zoo entrance gate to the ticketing areas on busy days.Thank you for your understanding.
The entire family can eat at the Oakland Zoo.In addition to the food options inside the Zoo, visitors can use the picnic tables and benches outside.Alcohol is not allowed at the zoo.straws are not provided for the safety of the animals.
