Step 6: The container should hold the mixture.
If you want to get all of the pomade, you need to pour it into a small container with a lid and make sure to remove the double boiler.
Step 7: For at least three hours, let the pomade cool down.
Leave the pomade to cool for at least three hours before you use it.If you let the pomade sit you will be able to use it on your hair.
Step 8: Water can be added to the boiler.
To make medium hold hair pomade, place a double boiler on the stove top.Place one inch of water in the bottom of the double boiler and place the top pan back.If you don't have a double boiler, place a pot on the stove and add an inch of water to the bottom.Place a heatproof bowl on top of the bottom pot.
Step 9: The butter and pastilles should be put in the double boiler.
Place the shea butter and beeswax pastilles in the top pan of the double boiler and mix them with a large spoon until they are melted.
Step 10: Add the oil and powder to a bowl.
