With good preparation ahead of the first day of sixth grade, you can feel reassured that you are ready to begin the new year.
Step 1: Pick out your clothes or uniform.
You won't waste time in the morning with this done.Pick an outfit that is clean, neat and suits you if your school doesn't have a uniform. If you're not sure what to do, your friends may be able to help.
Step 2: You need to pack your backpack.
The school stationery list should have been sorted by now.All you have to do is put them in your bag. Also add your bus/train pass, your ID, spare change, cell phone, contact numbers for emergencies, sanitary ware for girls, medication, and so on.You should keep a kit for emergencies. You need to sort your school supplies.Your school will either give you a list of supplies to buy or give them to the students.
Step 3: Pick out your lunch the night before.
Will you make it or take it?What needs to be made in the morning if you make it?If you don't make sandwiches before you go, they'll be soggy but cookies, a piece of fruit and a drink can be packed the night before. To save time in the morning, ask your parents or guardians for the money to buy lunch now.
Step 4: If you have one at night, take a shower or bath.
Leave this until the next morning if not.
Step 5: It's a good time.
It depends on the school you attend.Depending on when you need to leave for school. If you wake up an hour or two before school starts you can be prepared. You don't want to be late for school.
Step 6: If you're a morning washer, have a shower.
Step 7: Have a good breakfast.
Try waffles/pancakes, cereals, oatmeal, toast and eggs.
Step 8: You need to brush your teeth.
If you get floss stuck in your teeth, take it with you.
Step 9: Socialize with other people.
Say hello to people you already know.Introduce yourself to a new group of people.Don't get into trouble with your friends at school. If your teacher tells you to be quiet, then you should socialize with your friends as long as you don't disrupt anyone's learning.Talk during work periods and not when the teacher is teaching the class. If you want to include new students, don't just hang out with your friends.
Step 10: Make sure everything is in order.
You can get a file-case for papers.
Step 11: You should have a binder or aplanner for your schoolwork.
Put a calendar or sticky notes in your locker to mark it.
Step 12: Track your schoolwork, reports, and projects.
6th grade is very similar to elementary, but the teachers are harder on turning in work, so make sure you study for tests whenever you have time.
Step 13: In a relaxed way, breathe in and out.
You've started sixth grade!
