At Sertori's House, Charlotte finds a picture of her grandmother.She became suspicious of Lewis and the girls after that.Charlotte was able to steal a film in which she would discover the existence of mermaids and her own grandmother was one, because of this.She confronted Lewis but he denied their existence.In "Then There Were Four," Lewis tries to give the research back to Max Hamilton, but Charlotte follows him and asks him questions.
Max confirmed that Charlotte's suspicions were correct.Max told Charlotte that he still loved her even though she was a mermaid.It's possible that Lewis would love Charlotte more than Cleo."How did this happen?" Charlotte asked Max.Max said that magic happens at the right time.After arguing with Lewis again, Charlotte decided that the'magic happens' at the Moon Pool.She goes to the Moon Pool after taking a boat.
Charlotte heard Emma and Rikki mention "the moon" while she was overhearsing them.Once the full moon is up, Charlotte recalls Max's words that this was the right place, and the "right time" for the magic to happen, she jumps into the moon pool.Lewis is going to meet Charlotte on the jetty the next day.She doesn't like that Lewis is full of secrets.Charlotte becomes a mermaid after diving into the water.She asked Lewis "is this fantastic?".
Charlotte's true colors come out and the girls don't like her very much.She tried to find out what her powers were.After a while, she finds out that she has a lot of power.She believes that she was meant to be a mermaid.She is the most powerful mermaid in the entire series because she has control over all the elements and mastering her powers faster than the other girls.Charlotte becomes egotistical and power hungry.
After a power fight between Charlotte and the other girls over Nate when he attacks Lewis and tries to steal his boat, she stops collaborating with the girls and starts practicing her powers her own way.At Lewis' birthday party, Charlotte locks Cleo and Emma inside her pool room by freezing the lock shut, and uses hydrokinesis to burst a pipe full of water all over the girls.Rikki used her powers to free Emma and Cleo.The backlash against Charlotte leads to the end of their friendship.Charlotte told Lewis that he was no longer allowed to talk to the girls.
Charlotte decides to use her powers.You're pathetic, and you call yourself a mermaid.Charlotte ripped her grandmother's locket off of her neck because she felt that it was hers.After losing her locket and feeling that Lewis doesn't care about her anymore, she runs off to the sea.Lewis and Cleo got back together after he broke up with Charlotte because he was disgusted with her for stealing her locket.Charlotte was dumped by abusing her powers on the girls after they tried to warn her of the full moon.Charlotte arrogantly ignores them, after stating that she is the most powerful mermaid, even more powerful than all three of the girls combined, and proceeds to use her power of aerokinesis to push them into the air until Ash comes out, reluctantly forcing her to drop them.
Charlotte placed herself under a moonspell when she walked outside and looked at the full moon.Every fifty years, the planets are aligned with the full moon.The moon pool's powers can be lost when the full moon passes over.The other original mermaids, Louise and Julia, lost their powers in this way.Charlotte tried to lure the girls out of Emma's house by using her powers, but they were unable to retaliate since Ash was in the house.Lewis tried to lure Charlotte to the moon pool so that he could remove her powers.At the same time, Charlotte wanted to take away the girls powers so that she would be the only special one for Lewis.
Charlotte created a three-headed water snake to attack the girls as they were being lured to the moon pool.The girls destroyed the snake with an electric storm.In one final power fight, Charlotte gets overwhelmed by the girls' Combined Atmokinesis, the very power they obtained just before Charlotte arrived in town, and results in the most powerful mermaid being dropped into the moon pool and stripping Charlotte of all of her powers forever.Charlotte tried to win Lewis back, but she was unsuccessful, and Lewis forced her to return Cleo's Locket.Charlotte is thought to have moved away in shame and despair since losing her tail and locket.
After the girls got their advanced powers, Charlotte was not introduced until the second episode.Charlotte was not present for the episode.After the second season, Charlotte was not seen or mentioned again.
