You can learn how to permanently close your account at this website.Since the mobile app doesn't allow you to remove your account, you'll need a computer to do this.Before you can close your account, you need to cancel your Premium subscription.
Step 1: You can open it on the website.
You can go tospotify.com in your browser.If you are a subscriber, this will open your dashboard page.If you don't have a Premium subscription, skip the next part.If your browser doesn't remember your login details, click in the upper-right side of the page and enter the email address and password for your account.Premium subscribers can't cancel their subscription from the mobile app.
Step 2: You can click on the Profile.
The option is on the right side of the page.Clicking on it will prompt a menu to appear.
Step 3: Click Account to open it.
It's in the menu.You can open your account page by doing that.
Step 4: Click on the Manage Plan.
There is a black button on the right side of the page.To make sure you're on the correct page, click the tab in the upper- left side of the page.
Step 5: Click change or cancel.
There is a green button in the middle of the page.
Step 6: Click CANCEL PREMIUM.
There is a grey button on the right side of the page.
Step 7: Click yes if you wish to.
There is a button at the top of the page.Premium will be canceled if you do that.You're free to close your account once you've completed this step.
Step 8: There is a customer service page on the Spotify website.
Go to support.spotify.com in your browser.This will open the "CONTACT SPOTIFY" page if you are a member of the service.If you don't have a password or email address, click before you start.
Step 9: Go to Account.
There is a "please select a category" heading near the top of the page.
Step 10: I would like to close my account on Spotify permanently.
There is an option in the middle of the page.
Step 11: Click close account to shut it down.
There is a black button on the lower left side of the page.
Step 12: Click close account to shut it down.
There is a blue button in the lower right side of the page.
Step 13: Take a moment to review your account.
The account name in the middle of the page should be the one you want to remove.
Step 14: Click Continue after scrolling down.
It is on the lower-right side of the page.
Step 15: The "I understand, and still want to close my account" box needs to be checked.
You may have to scroll down to see the box at the bottom of the page.
Step 16: Continue if you don't want to
You can find it in the lower-right corner of the page.If you do that, you will be prompted to send an email to your account's email address.
Step 17: You can open the email from there.
Click on the email address that you used to sign up for the service to see it.You'll go to the email address that you used to sign up for Facebook if you use it for Spotify.
Step 18: If you want to close my account, click here.
There is a green button in the email.This is the last step in the deletion process and marks your account for deletion.
