You can learn how to create a ringtone for your phone.If you want to make a ringtone from a song that's already on your phone, you can either buy one from the iTunes Store or use GarageBand.
Step 1: You can open the app on your phone.
There is an app icon that looks like a white star on a background.
Step 2: There are genres.
It is in the upper left corner of the store.There is a drop-down menu of different genres.
Step 3: Click Tones to scroll down.
When you tap "Genres" in the upper- left corner, it's at the bottom of the drop-down menu.There is a menu for tones.
Step 4: You can tap All Tones or a genre.
If you are looking for a specific genre, you can either tap the genre or the top of the menu.
Step 5: You can find a ringtone to use.
If you want to buy a ringtones, scroll through the list.Select the tab under the search bar if you want to look up a specific ringtone.You can see the art of the ringtone.
Step 6: The ringtone's price can be tapped.
The ringtone is to the right.There will be a pop-up menu.
Step 7: If you prefer, you can tap Set as Default.
You can assign the tone to a specific contact or set it as your default text tone.You can skip this step if you tap.
Step 8: When prompted, enter your Touch ID, Face ID or Apple ID password.
You will be able to download your ringtone onto your phone.
Step 9: The ringtone can be set from the settings.
You can either set your ringtone as the default for all incoming calls or you can apply it to a specific contact.Specific contact is when you open the app, select a contact, tap, and then tap again to save your changes.
Step 10: Attach your computer to your device.
You can use the charging cable that comes with your device to connect to your computer.
Step 11: If you don't already have it, open it.
There is a white icon with two music notes.You can click the icon in the Windows Start menu or the Applications folder on Mac.Make sure you have the latest version of the software.
Step 12: On your computer, navigate to the custom ringtones.
To find the custom ringtones on your computer, use the Finder on Mac or Windows Explorer.
Step 13: You can select all the custom ringtones.
Click on the one you want to use.To select multiple files, press and hold or on Mac.
Step 14: Click to copy the files.
It's in the menu when you click on an item.You can click with two fingers if you are using a magic mouse.
Step 15: If you want to go back to the library, click here.
The first tab is at the top of the app.
Step 16: You can click your device icon.
The icon is similar to an iPad.It's next to the drop-down menu.You can see the library on your device.
Step 17: Click Tones.
You can find it in the sidebar menu at the bottom.You can see the ringtones on your device.
Step 18: Click to change it.
There is a menu bar at the top of iTunes.
Step 19: Click on it.
You can paste your copied ringtones into your library on your device.In the sidebar to the left, you can drag and drop the ringtone audio files into the "Tones" folder.Old ringtones can be deleted from the "Tones" folder.
