There is a very noticeable difference between handling with and without KDSS. KDSS vehicles are much tighter on road and have very little roll compared to 4Runners without it. To OP, if its your daily driver and you're not trying to get crazy with lifting it, I'd recommend KDSS.Sep 7, 2020
Will lifting my 4Runner void warranty?
The installation of a lift will not Void your 4Runner's warranty. Coverage on any part that is proven to be damaged as the result of a lift or any condition caused by the install of a lift can be denied for coverage though.
How do I deactivate KDSS?
Deactivate the KDSS: On the inside of the left frame rail (driver side) you will find a hydraulic valve block that the KDSS lines go to. On the bottom there are 2 set screws that are normally in the closed position. Using a 4.5mm allen wrench, loosen both set screws 2 turns each.
