Starbucks Teavana Tea Sachets (JadeCitrus Mint, Pack of 6)
I love sharing my coffee knowledge with anyone who will listen, I have been a Starbucks barista for over 10 years.
I have been a barista at Starbucks for a number of years and have learned how to navigate the menu inside and out.I love teaching new baristas and customers how to make their own drinks, and I have been working on putting my knowledge into guides to reach people outside of my store. This is the first in a series about Teavana teas.
Tazo brand teas are no longer served by Starbucks. The Tazo brand can be found at grocery stores and online.Starbucks serves Teavana tea in-store.There is a huge variety of high-quality teas at Teavana's retail locations.Starbucks has a small selection of Teavana teas, and I will be looking at them in more detail here.
The standard presentation of our hot teas is just tea bags and hot water, but all of the Teavana teas can be made into lattes or have syrup added to them.If you want to add syrups to your tea, we are happy to do it for an additional fee.All of our teas are made with hot water. If you want to drink tea immediately, be sure to ask your barista to add ice.
Time for the tea to steep is not allowed by the baristas. For herbal teas, we recommend steeping for three to six minutes.
Black tea has the highest amount of caffeine of any tea Starbucks offers. The Teavana menu has two standard, classic varieties that we brought over.
English Breakfast is a great way to start the day because it has a moderate level of caffeine.Teavana has a version of this classic that is pleasant. The Tazo Awake tea is very close to this tea.
Starbucks and Teavana both offer Earl Grey tea, a staple for many tea drinkers.Earl Grey is a sweet and creamy version of black tea.The earl grey has a flavor profile of bergamot, lemon, and lavender.
The Teavana Earl Grey creme is different for me because it is not as spicy as I am used to.This is a smooth play that comes across as a mellow version of the classic. There is a Teavana Earl Grey Tea Latte standard on the Starbucks menu that has the addition of steamed milk.
Starbucks green tea is the second most popular tea on the menu.We now offer a standard green tea from Teavana, as well as a tea that features an exciting mix of mint and citrus that closely parallels the formerly offered Tazo Zen tea.
What a mouthful! This is a classic green tea.The name has not been popular with my customers. If you can remember, your barista will probably let you order this as a plain green tea.
The location at which the tea leaves are taken is named for this Teavana classic. The Chinese green tea is grown at 3,500 feet. The ethereal look of the location is captured by the name.
Tazo's Zen tea was a green tea with an interesting mix of spearmint and citrus.Teavana has a more descriptively named Jade Citrus Mint. There is a hint of spearmint in Jade Citrus Mint.It is a refreshing green tea in the mix.Starbucks uses Jade Citrus Mint for green iced tea.
It is a great option to have Teavana white tea on the Starbucks menu.Teavana estimates that their white teas contain between one and two percent of the amount that would be found in a cup of coffee, because the leaves are the least processed of any type of tea.
White tea has delicate flavors, but Youthberry is a vibrant and fruity blend. It has a strong taste of aai, but also has notes of pineapple, mango, and apple.Every time I try a cup of this blend, I get a new hint of flavor.
Teavana herbal teas are available in Starbucks stores. There are only a few fully decaffeinated hot tea options.
This option is very popular at my store. The blend of spearmint and peppermint is called Mint Majesty. When I drink Mint Majesty, I like the blend of mints more than the hint of lemon verbena. My top pick for soothing a sore throat is Mint Majesty.I enjoy it even in warm weather because it has a very refreshing flavor.
I like to recommend this tea to people who want a strong flavor. There is a combination of pineapple, lemon verbena, and rosehip.Candied peach is the most prominent flavor. It tastes like peach gummy rings to me, but this may be a strange comparison.
Tazo's Passion tea used to be offered by Starbucks, while Teavana has Passion Tango.Mango and papaya seem to be the most strongly featured fruit in Passion Tango, but it also contains other fruit and spices. It is a floral and fruity blend.Iced Passion teas are also available in Starbucks stores.
I highly recommend this tea, but it has a very mild flavor. When compared to Youthberry,Passion Tango, or Peach Tranquility, it lacks some of the punch. The flavor of Pineapple Kona Pop is mostly pineapple, but it is infused with orange blossom, which adds a hint of floral and citrus flavor.
Teavana hot-brewed teas are available in Starbucks stores.Check out my iced tea guide and tea latte guide.

I love the tea and would like to purchase a few boxes of it at the store.
There is a Starbucks within walking distance of the area I will be working in tomorrow.
I went to the website to see if they served a cup of tea.Nothing too much to ask for, I thought, just a cup of tea.
The best assumption I can come up with is, no, after 10 minutes of trying to learn the Starbucks language.
The other two brands are still popular.I have never seen a place like Starbucks try so hard to please their customers.
I wonder how Starbucks will make green and white teas with 200 degree water.White tea would be rendered bitter by that temperature.Water boilers set to different temperatures are what Starbucks needs to make teas correctly.Starbucks fails at time and temperature when it comes to making a good cup of tea.
I had black tea lattes from Starbucks multiple times when I was in China. They were good.I'm pretty sure it wasn't made with Earl Grey tea.Do you know if this is the Teavana English Breakfast blend?Which syrup was used?I assumed it was standard Starbucks "recipe" that each latte tasted the same regardless of the city I was in.
If I know the tea and the syrup and I tell the barista, they will make me one. They should be a standard menu item in the U.S.
