Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC) can be separated into two separate organizations.
Provide substance use disorder clinical care, including assessment, treatment, and aftercare, for Service Members and other beneficiaries within an integrated medical and behavioral health model to enhance health and readiness.
A fully integrated, unit-aligned, co-located comprehensive substance use disorder treatment that utilizes national best practices to maximize care delivery and force conserve for Service Members and other beneficiaries.
The goal of the SUDCC is to provide integrated, unit-aligned, co-located BH care for Service Members and other beneficiaries.SUD care is part of a plan to address the total BH needs.Integrated care will allow for a rapid and successful recovery and return to full readiness status.
Voluntary care may be available to a soldier.Soldiers are encouraged to seek help early.Voluntary care is for Soldiers to receive help for self-identified problems before they lead to mandatory treatment, deployment restrictions, and negative career impact.
