SysInternals Pro is a program that uses PsTools to control other PCs from a remote computer.

Command-line tools are included in the Windows NT and Windows 2000 Resource Kits.I've grown a collection of similar tools that aren't included in the Resource Kits. The tools allow you to manage remote systems as well as the local one.The first tool in the suite was PsList, a tool that lets you view detailed information about processes.I adopted the "Ps" prefix for all the tools in order to tie them together into a suite of tools named PsTools because the standard UNIX process listing command-line tool is named "ps".

One or more of the tools have been found to have a "remote admin" virus. The PsTools have been used by viruses, which is the reason for the notifications.

Complete usage information for all the tools is included in the PsTools download package.

No special installation is required for the tools. You don't have to install client software on the remote computers to target them. You can run them by typing their name and any command-line options you want.To show complete usage information, specify "-?The option is command-line.You can ask questions at the Sysinternals PsTools Forum.
