Step 18: Place the candle in the center of the votive.
Carefully pour a thin layer of the wax in the jar.The candle should be placed in the center of the votive.The candle should be hung over the edge.You will cut them later.It burns well if you use a thicker wick.If the candle doesn't stay up on its own, place a popsicle stick over the top of the votive to keep it in place.

Step 22: Try out the candle by cutting the wicks.
If you want the candle to sit just above the wax, you need to cut it with scissors.To try them out, light the candles.
