Step 6: To make a knot, put the loose end under the belt.
Leave the vest lying down.Tuck the end of the belt under the body.Place the end so that it points toward the vest.Try on the vest a second time to make sure the fit is right.Before the knot is in place, it is easier to make adjustments.
Step 7: Pull the loose end through the loop you made.
You will not make a double knot or tie a bow for this process.Pull the end of the fabric through the gap between the belt and belt before the cinch.To make sure it stays in place, tug it tight.It's helpful for slipperier fabrics, like silk, which are more likely to slide out of the cinch without a little extra reinforcement.
Step 8: The vest's bottom button should be undone.

Step 11: You should wear a button-up shirt underneath your vest.
It's important to tuck it in as tightly as possible.It helps the vest lay nicely and prevents your shirt from ballooning out between your pants.You should never wear polos, sweaters, or T-shirts underneath your vest.
Step 12: When you want to add visual contrast, opt for a double-breasted vest.
