By default, your computer's Internet browser stores cookies.Cookies are used to store settings and information for websites.Sometimes cookies can be used to track users.Some people like to have their cookies turned off.The article teaches you how to block cookies in different browsers.
Step 1: Click the menu button.
The icon has three dots.This can be found in the upper-right corner of the window.
Step 2: Click on the option.
It is at the bottom of the menu.
Step 3: You can show advanced settings.
The settings menu has it at the bottom.The settings menu is expanded by this.
Step 4: Click on the site settings to change them.
The "Privacy and security" section has this.
Step 5: You can click on Cookies and site data.
There is a menu at the top of the site settings.
Step 6: Allow sites to save and read cookie data if you click the switch next.
The right to allow sites to save and read cookies is at the top of the "Cookies and site data" menu.Select "Block sites from setting any data" in older versions.
Step 7: There is a switch next to "Block third-party cookies".
It is to the right of "Cookies and site data" in the menu.You can block cookies from individual websites.Click next to "Block" and enter the website address you want to block cookies on.Then click again.
Step 8: Next to "Clear cookies and site data when you quit Chrome" is a switch.
Every time you close your browser, the settings deleted existing cookies.Next time you close Chrome, this will remove all your existing cookies.If you don't want to have cookies deleted every time Chrome closes, you need to change this setting.
Step 9: Go away from Chrome.
The "X" icon can be found in the upper-right corner on Windows or the red "x" on Mac.
Step 10: Click the menu button.

Step 14: Next to "Cookies" is the drop-down menu.
The first option in the box is "Enhanced Tracking Protection".
Step 15: Clicking All Cookies will cause websites to break.
The "Cookies" option is next to the "Custom" box in the drop-down menu."Block Third-Party Cookies" can be selected in the drop-down menu.You can block individual websites.Click below if you want to do so.Click on the bar labeled "Address of Website" to enter the website address you want to block.
Step 16: Click the button next to "Delete cookies and site data when the browser is not open".
When the browser is shut down, this tells it to remove all existing cookies.
Step 17: It's a good idea to close the browser.

Step 30: You can tap on the screen.
It's next to a blue compass icon in the settings menu.
Step 31: There is a switch next to "Block All Cookies".
The "Privacy & Security" section has this.The switch is to the right.
Step 32: You can tap block all.
The pop-up alert has red text.Cookies will not be saved for sites you visit.
Step 33: The menu button is on the Chrome browser.
