The inventor of the Miracle Mop, Joy Mangano, is leaving the network after 20 years.

According to a news release, the "Queen of HSN" will "pursue other professional opportunities."Her company, Ingenious Designs, was sold to HSN in 1999 after she started her career on another network.She became a face of the network.
A stream of dramatic changes began in October as a result of the new ownership of HSN by the Qurate Retail group.In the last few months, Qurate has cut jobs at HSN and combined the once-rival networks into the same business and buying team it calls "QXH."
The end of Ingenious Designs, a Long Island-based company, was also a result of the 350 job cuts.

All 66 employees of Ingenious Designs would lose their jobs when layoffs begin on December 28, according to a notice filed in New York.The company closes on February 28, according to the notice.There is a reason for the closing.
