You can learn how to force the "Library" folder to show up in the Finder window.You can prompt the "Library" folder to appear both temporarily and permanently.
Step 1: There is an open finder.
There is a blue and white symbol on the far left side of your Mac's Dock.This will open a new window.
Step 2: Go.
There is a menu item at the top of the screen.Clicking on it will lead to a drop-down menu.
Step 3: The option key should be held down.
There is a key in the lower left corner of the keyboard.The folder will appear in the drop-down menu if it is held down.
Step 4: You can click the library.
It's in the middle of the menu.The Library folder can be opened in the Finder window.You can let go of the option key if you close the Finder window in which the Library folder is open.
Step 5: Make sure that your Mac is up to date.
The following instructions should work on macOS Sierra and High Sierra.
Step 6: There is an open finder.

Click the Finder window with both fingers if you have an Apple mouse with one mouse button.This will prompt a menu change.To perform a right-click, hold the Control key and click the Finder window.
Step 11: Click on the show view options.
It is at the bottom of the menu.There are additional options when a pop-up window opens.
Step 12: The "show library folder" box should be checked.
There is a pop-up window.
Step 13: Click use as the default.
It is at the bottom of the window.You don't have to worry about the option disappearing from the menu or the folder at this point.
