The problem with braided cables is that you can't put foam in your wet hair.
There are a lot of people who hate it and a few who love it.I'm curious what you prefer and why.I like braided cable because it floats across my desk.I've heard people say the opposite.A mouse without a braided cable is not a bad mouse. Some of the best mice have cables.I'm only asking for thoughts and opinions.
You can't clean braided cables thoroughly once they get dirty.I stopped using wired mice.Get a good wireless mouse and some batteries. If I needed supreme accuracy, I would return to the mouse that came with my coolermaster CM storm keyboard.I would try out the mouse without the light coming from it.
I like non-braided mouse cables. One of the mice is braided and the other is non-braided.The SteelSeries mouse with braided cables gets caught on the back of the keyboard/mouse rest and I never complain about it.
I like the look of braided cables, not just mice.I like the flexibility of non-braided.I will try to make the braided ones more limber. The rosin used on bows tends to make them better.Use at your own risk.
It's weird that you post this thread on the same day that a video is made about it.What a coincidence...
I love him.I missed this video.I didn't notice a difference with the drag on the cables. Thanks for sharing, it's still good info.
I don't care if it's braided or not, the type of cable is the last thing I look for on a mouse.
I know you from my comments and streams.I hope you saw the video.I was thinking about doing a detailed write up on the forums with pictures and video footage of this process that would be more in-depth than a video I publish. It would have been like a 45 minute video.
The job is beginning.Enjoy the flexibility and strip that leaves off.It is day and night at the same time.
It is not always cut and dry on braided cables. It depends on how much they use.
I love my Mionix Naos.It works wonderfully because it slides across my desk and exits down the back of the mouse so it doesn't get caught in the first place.
The Filco keyboard is a rubber cable and the rubber on the wood makes it catch even though it was packaged in a way that made it move.
The braided cables on my California Headphone Company headphones are the best ever.It doesn't seem to have the rubber under the braid and is very flexible. The rubber on previous headphones rubbed against clothes, bags and pockets. It gets daily use and is more soft than it was when I bought it.
If you have braided or non braided cables, it is a good idea to get them straightened out by putting a little tension on them and heating them up with a hair dryer or a heat gun.I don't like that cables are folded up at tight angles. If you leave the cable free, it will not be bent out of shape.
