The SoulCycle Standard of safety and fitness, as well asPOPSUGAR Fitness, are now official water partners.

Our family takes care of each other in our community. We went beyond the guidelines when we put new safety measures in place.

The details of our new plan can be found below, but keep in mind that this is just the beginning. We have a few more upgrades in the works, and as we learn more, we will be constantly fine-tuning and updating this page with the latest.

The health and safety of our community has always been a priority for us.We are taking it to a higher level.

There are masks required during class. You have to wear masks at all times.Coral Gables is located in Chestnut Hill, Back Bay, Greenwich, and Old Town.

There are no masks required in the common areas of the studio. The South Beach area includes Palm Beach, Buckhead, Union Market, Palo Alto, San Jose, and Marin.

The safety of our community has always been our top priority, and we are even more focused on it now.To set the tone for our industry, we have made changes to how we operate. The changes you can expect are listed here.

Staff will use a Disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 in all common areas before and after check-ins, with a heightened attention to bikes, weights, and all high-touch surfaces after every class. We will be cleaning the studio from top to bottom twice a week.

doorknobs, handles, rails, light switches, sanitizing stations, lockers, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, benches, locker keys, the front desk, keyboards, computers, phones, and instructor equipment will be destroyed after every class.

There will be a rotation of shoes so that they don't wear two classes in a row.We will only rent them out once they are completely dry.

During their shift, staff will be required to wear face masks and gloves. Before refreshing gloves and masks, they will wash their hands.

The new filters help to destroy the COVID-19 virus by using PECO air-purification tech.

The new disinfectant allows us to spray more evenly, gets hard-to-reach crevices, clings to every surface it coats, and is proven to kill viruses like COVID-19.A special attention will be given to bikes, weights, and all high-touch surfaces after every class, as staff will use this on all common areas before and after check-ins.

To protect your head, hands, feet and ears, please dress in layers for our classes. Before engaging in outdoor exercise in cold weather, please check with your medical provider to make sure you don't need to take any special precautions.

Before their shift, every staff and instructor will undergo a symptom screening. We will follow our elevated temperature protocol when necessary.

We will check the temperature of riders as they enter the studio.

Before entering the studio, you must sign a Health Declaration stating that you agree to the health and safety parameters put in place by our governments. You will be able to do this in your app.Every rider must sign a health declaration if they are booking multiple bikes. All riders are encouraged to book their bike with their own account.

We are removing gum, razors, q-tips, and complimentary phone charging to limit hand-to-hand contact. There will be hair ties and ear plugs behind the desk.

From a safe distance, your studio staff is here to help.Staff are not allowed to leave the front desk, aside from studio cleaning.Staff will assist riders with bikes or lockers when necessary.

Please remember to cancel by 5pm the night before class in order to allow as many riders as possible to get a bike.

The stations will have higher alcohol concentrations. There are two stations at the lobby entrance and one by the studio door.We will have hand sanitizer in the studio as usual.

You can check yourself in the app with our new hands-free process.Check in up to 30 minutes before class starts to make sure you have the latest update for your device.Entry will not be allowed past the start of class.

Our staff will work to get riders in and out of studios.Floor markers show a safe distance in the lobby, locker rooms and bathroom. We ask you not to wait for class in these high-traffic areas, and to consider waiting outside or in your car if the weather permits it.

Unless noted otherwise in your market, masks or face coverings are required to be worn in the studio and class.Riders will not be allowed to wear masks. We will not be supplying these, so please bring your own.

If you use lockers marked available, you will never use two classes in a row. After every class, used lockers will be cleaned.

Many bikes are in the room, but most are empty to maintain social distancing practices. Please use your assigned bike only to keep yourself and other riders safe.

If you want to avoid contact with staff, learn how to set your bike up here.Staff will demonstrate setup on the podium bike if you still need assistance.

Birthdays won't be celebrated during class to uphold social distancing practices. We have other plans for you to celebrate your big day.

If you forget your combination, please wait until there are no other riders at the front desk to have your locker unlocked.

We ask that you don't touch items as much as possible, as our retail collection will still be available. When waiting in line, please stand on the floor marker if you want to make a purchase.

We won't allow riders to try on items before buying, but we will accept returns. If a rider returns an item, we will not put it back on the floor until it is deemed safe.

The following safety measures are being put into place to ensure the health of our riders and staff.

There are mask policies by region and studio. At the minimum, masks are required in all indoor and outdoor common areas, and face coverings must be worn at all times. The latest information about your studio can be found on the Soul Outside landing page.

Disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19 will be used to clean the headsets. To be compatible with our audio system, your headphones must have a 3.5mm mini connector.

We don't have regular in-studio seating. We will provide benches for riders to change their shoes.

We have put a lot of changes in place. The new safety process will be most effective if we all do our part. The best people are the soul people.

Aside from respecting the safety guidelines put in place by our governments, we ask that any rider coming to a studio walks in with the approach our Soul Fam takes for most things: Go above and beyond for each other.

It's important to practice social distancing in shared spaces like locker rooms and bathroom. To keep a safe distance, follow the markers around the studio.

Please do not come to the studio until you are symptom-free and free of the symptoms of COVID-19 for three days.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you not come to the studio for 14 days.

We encourage riders and staff to limit their contact with each other. The best way to take care of our soul fam is through community and love.

It may be a bit overwhelming at first. As soon as that first song starts playing, you will find yourself in that place you know and love. The sanctuary you need now more than ever is even safer and we can't wait to welcome you back.

We are aware of and prepared for the possibility of a second wave, and we encourage you to do the same.

If there is a reported case of COVID-19 in your studio, you will be notified immediately. We will make sure the studio is safe from top to bottom.

The best way to prepare is to respond and evolve as the situation develops, with nothing but your safety in mind.

We are here for you if you want to stay home or join us in the studio.Let us know if you have any questions at yoursoulmatters@soul-cycle.com.
