Webex can be used for remote proctoring for the Texas Success Initiative Assessment.Testing is only done by appointment.
When it's convenient for you, Examity allows you to take your Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) online.
You need to ask the Testing department about scheduling the TSIA after you receive testing authorization.Send an email to the campus testing center if you need assistance or have questions.

The assessment is not timed.It takes three to five hours to complete all three sections.
Valid/current, non-expired government issued photo ID.
You can't use your own calculator for the TSIA.There is a calculator in the test that can be used to answer questions.
You can take the TSI Assessment 2.0.It is strongly recommended that you prepare for the section or sections needed before retesting.The full TSIA2 test costs $29 or $20 for ELAR only and $10 for math or essay.Prepayment is required to take the test.You won't be able to retest the same day.
The assessment is scored immediately after completion.You will get a copy of the scores via email.
If you have taken the TSIA at another Texas institution and want to enroll at Houston Community College, you need to fill out this form.The reports are processed within a few days.To complete the Score Retrieval Form, please select the college or campus you will be attending.
