Step 1: The eggs need to be washed.

There should be a container for each color crayon.
Step 8: The wax and crayons should be melted in a double boiler.
The wax will turn clear.Bring the water to a boil by putting the plastic containers of wax and crayons in it.
Step 9: The temperature should be checked.
If you use a glass thermometer, make sure the wax is at least 125 F.
Step 10: Add the wax to the crayons.
Pour the melted wax into the crayon.
Step 11: The eggs have holes in them.
There should be at least half an inch sticking out from each side.
Step 12: Play-Doh can be used to patch the top hole.
The solid seal allows the egg to not leak.
Step 13: Put the wax and crayon mix in the eggs.
Overfill the eggs using a funnel to make sure they are full.
Step 14: Continue to refill the eggs.
The egg is no longer full as the wax cools.You will need to refill the eggs about 3-4 times.
Step 15: The eggs should be left aside.
Place the eggs in the fridge for a few hours to allow the wax to cool.
Step 16: The Play-Doh needs to be removed.
Step 17: The shells need to be cracked.
The eggs can be knocked on the counter or hit with a spoon.
Step 18: Place the eggs in a container.
To remove the shells from the wax, use a knife.
Step 19: The wicks should be trimmed to the desired length.
Step 20: If you want, you can Polish the candles.
To melt the wax, use a hair dryer.You can give it a shine finish by rubbing your finger over the wax.
Step 21: If you want to, slice the bottom of the egg with a knife.
This will allow it to stand on its own.
