There are tales of Japanese tea: Correct amount of matcha on a tea spoon. How much loose leaf tea should I use per cup?
I weighted 2 scoops of matcha with chashaku and only got 1 gram of powder.Using an electronic scale. It is impossible to get the results with the spoon if my chashaku is different.
There is a little difference in the tip of the chashaku. One of the chashakus at my tea school has a slightly shorter tip.I have a hard time getting enough chashaku. You can see some photos of my chachaku in the previous post. The width of my chashaku is 11mm.
I got a very good balance of 0.92 grams of matcha, even though I work in a lab. You're right on the money with 1.8 grams.
I have both a chachaku and a matcha spoon, so I'm not talking about the standard measure of volume used in recipes.I don't know if I'm getting the right amount.I'm not sure how heaped the chachaku is.The spoon is supposed to hold 1 g of powder. The people said it was one serving, but I now know that it is only half a serving.
I wish I'd read this first time I had matcha because I didn't know how much I should have. I was high off caffeine for hours and had no idea what was wrong with me.I didn't think that YouTube did me wrong.
.Surprisingly, the macha still got quite a lot of scoop.Where can I buy green tea?
