There is a variation on the tag.Werewolf needs a home base instead of regular tag.It feels like hide and seek during the game.
Step 1: There is a large space.
The most exciting area to play is in the woods.The area is not safe for a group of kids.It is possible to play around a cul-de-sac for a safer environment.Having enough places to hide is the most important thing.The game is more authentic at night.
Step 2: A group of people together.
There is no age requirement for playing this game.If there aren't enough kids, you can grab a mom or dad.You will need at least 10 people.The merrier.
Step 3: Establish a base.
You should have a place where you meet for each round.This is where you will meet after the round is over.It's best to be slightly closed off.A porch is a great home base for playing Werewolf.
Step 4: Make a werewolf.
While covering her eyes, this person will count to 30.She will run after the other people once she reaches 30.The Werewolf is going to tag as many people as she can.You become a Werewolf if the Werewolf tags you.Nobody should feel isolated because the main werewolf rotates each round.
Step 5: Play as a monster.
You want to tag as many non-wolves as you can.Once someone sees you, they will have an advantage over you.They aren't allowed to speak.grunts and point are required to communicate.
Step 6: You can play as a non-wolf.
The objective for the non-Werewolf is to find a hiding space as quickly as possible.When the time comes, keep track of the Werewolf's clock.The Werewolf will be able to find you if you wander.It's important to find a good hiding spot.After a few rounds, the Werewolf will know where to look so you can vary your hiding spot from game to game.If you become a Werewolf, you must try to catch the rest of the humans.You have to kneel, close your eyes, and count for 15 seconds to become a werewolf.
Step 7: Make it back to the starting point.
You should call "Werewolf!" when you notice you're one of the last people.Every human left makes a run back to the home base.Be careful there because werewolves will be waiting for you.
Step 8: Start a new round again.
Everyone gathers at the home base.The last people to be tagged and the ones that aren't Werewolves pick the next one.There is a new Werewolf in the game.You can't pick the same Werewolf from the last round.
