Pack 'n plays can get very dirty as babies spend a lot of time in them.If your Pack 'n Play is lightly dirty, you can wash it with laundry detergent and water.Submerging it in soapy water in the bathtub may be better for it.
Step 1: You don't mind getting wet if it's in the area.
The Pack 'n Play can be taken outside or in the garage.It's likely that you'll get soap and water everywhere when you scrub it down.The mattress should be washed separately.Put the mattress in the washing machine if it has a cover.
Step 2: A cleaning solution can be made.
Add detergent to a bucket of water.Make sure the detergent is in the water.Take a clean cloth or brush and put it in the water.
Step 3: The Pack 'n Play needs to be cleaned.

Pull the mattress out of the Pack 'n Play.The mattress and Pack 'n Play will fit in most bathtubs.You may need to do it in parts if yours doesn't fit all at once.Warm to hot water is needed to fill the tub.The frame can be used to hold the mattress in the water.
Step 7: Put soap in it.
When the tub is filling up, put in a mixture of detergent, baking soda, and vinegar.You'll need about 1/2 a cup of laundry detergent, 1/3 of baking soda, and 1/6 of vinegar.If you're using powdered detergent, you should mix it with water before putting it in the tub.
Step 8: The Pack 'n Play must be soaked.
Pack 'n Play should be left in the tub for at least an hour after you add soap and fill it.After half an hour, flip it and leave it for another 30 minutes.
Step 9: Don't rinse it.
If you have a shower head, you can rinse it in the tub.You'll need to rinse it down with a hose if it's not.Try to get rid of the soap and dirt.If your Pack 'n Play was dirty, you might want to wash it.
Step 10: Allow it to dry out in the sun.
Pack 'n Play can be set up outside on a warm day.Make sure the mattress gets air flow around it.It may be necessary for you to prop it up and then turn it over.Before you put your Pack 'n Play back in use, let the sun dry it.
Step 11: You should soak up spills.
As soon as they happen, try to get spills up.Before you try to clean the area, use a towel or paper towel to get as much liquid as you can.To soak up all the liquid, you may need to hold the towel on an area.
