OCSA will review your renewal application after you have completed the renewal process.You can check your application status after five days.If the OCSA verification website shows aENDING status, please contact the Office of Controlled Substances Administration.
OCSA will no longer accept paper applications for new registration and renewal during the current renewal period.New and renewal registration can be submitted online.
OCSA accepts paper applications for address changes, name change, change of ownership, replacement/duplicate copy of the certificate, and expired renewal registration.Check the box in Section 1-B if you want to download the paper application.The completed form can be mailed to the Office of Controlled Substances Administration.
2 Hours of Continuing Education Relating to Prescribing or Dispensing of Controlled Dangerous Substances is required by authorized providers before they receive their first renewal certificate.
You must attest to this requirement before you can continue with the online renewal.This is not a recurring requirement.After testing the completion of the required continuing education, the mandate is met.
