This is a review of the Upper Crust Bakery Mini Lemon Bites.

I work from home because of COVID-19.I was able to spend two weeks on Cape Cod because my location doesn't matter.The Hannah Organic Tzatziki Greek Style Yogurt Dip and the Santa Barbara mango peach salsa were included in the first week.We decided to buy both products again for the second week after enjoying those dinners.It's a great way to prepare an easy, cool dinner in the summer and to help each lot of vegetables.

The website states that the Mini-Lemon Bites are a decadent Lemon cake, adorned with our signature Lemon icing and white fondant.

We had seen these bites several times in the bakery and were interested in trying them, but without a specific event in mind, we never tried them.It was a good time to try them because they had a coupon a few weeks ago.

They are good for people who like lemons.I like lemon a lot and find it refreshing, so I always choose lemon poppy muffins over any other type.I was surprised by the intensity of the flavor on the first few bites.I had a few of them for dessert and, whereas I would have predicted they would get to be way too much with each bite, I actually liked them more as I got used to the taste.I think that the reverse would be true for many people.

Each cake was covered in lemon icing.I liked the cake.They tasted fresh and higher quality than most other packaged baked goods.The cake was strong and contained small pieces of Meyer lemon rind.The icing was thick and sweet.I picked it off because it was too sweet on the cake.I think the lemon cake and lemon icing was too much and would prefer a cake with a frosting or icing.

I ate these on their own, but I think they would be great with some ice cream or whipped cream to cut the intensity.They would be great with tea or coffee, I don't drink either, but it still sounds like a good combination.

The treats are pretty and would make a great addition to a dessert platter.The other desserts could provide contrast to the strong lemon flavor, so they would make a nice addition to a sampling plate.As I emphasize the strength of the lemon flavor, my review may sound negative.I liked them more as I got used to the taste.I want to be clear that they are a good treat for lemon lovers.

The website shows that the bakery makes a few other flavors of mini-bites as well.I rarely feel the same way about chocolate if it's as strong as lemon.It will be worth cleaning out the freezer in order to buy them if they last long enough to have leftovers.).
