Walk-on's Sports Bistreaux is located in Tyler, Texas

Poorly managed. We arrived on a Friday night in March of 2021.A large group of people arrive after the dinner rush.A waitress took our order. That's right, just one.The restaurant manager would think of putting all of us on one waitress. Our table should have been worked on by at least three people. The manager should have assigned proper number of workers to make sure we were taken care of.After waiting 30 minutes for my first beer, I went to the front and asked to speak with the manager. He was summoned.I told him that we were the large table on the back wall and that he needed to make sure it gets done because there weren't enough wait staff taking orders. Before I turn away, I said, you must get involved and help out to make sure it gets done.I've worked in this business and know its management's responsibility to ensure customers are taken care of, and in some instances requires pulling out all stops to make sure it happens and that includes the manager getting his hands on things. It didn't happen here.I didn't see the manager again after I returned to our table. He didn't come to our table to make sure things were okay.

The bar burger was delicious and came out hot.Not done or under down. The service was excellent and would recommend it to anyone. There is plenty of seating and free parking.

Thank you for the recommendation! We look forward to seeing you again, and we are thrilled to have hit the mark.

Tonight was the first time we have eaten at Walk Ons and I am sure it will be our last.We were seated very quickly with the exception of trying to sit a family of 4 with a four-year-old in the bar.We were seated in a more family friendly section after we were asked if this was okay.I know this is a sports bar, but football is not the only sport.Football was played on every TV in the place. We got our food and drink quickly. My wife ordered a shrimp po-boy and I ordered the classic burger.I get back to the issue here. The chicken wrap was ordered by my son.He said it was great. We can see if the food is good if my daughter eats it.It must have been good that she ate it.The shrimp po-boy issue is back. They don't devein the shrimp. My wife wouldn't have noticed it because the crust came off. That was the last time she ate her meal. When the waitress asked if everything was okay, I asked her about the process of deveining the shrimp. She asked the manager if they knew more because she saw them wash them. She told us that they don't devein the shrimp.I will never eat another one from here.I have eaten po-boy and fried shrimp many times. It is not appealing to us.We will come back because they have good food.
