Is Hermitcraft the best SMP?
They are better in terms of grinding, building and redstone, and family-friendly, wholesome content that isn't swearing, NSFW, or has a lot of wars and such. If you're looking for a more slow-paced, family-friendly, wholesome server, then Hermitcraft is much better.
