It's important to know how you'll split the tasks in the cockpit when flying with another pilot.It will be difficult to work together if there is no clear communication from the beginning.

If any unique navigation equipment requirements apply, review your route.Special use airspace along your route should be double checked.

If there is low weather, give your plan for alternates and which direction has the best conditions.

The performance for the day should be reviewed once you know your aircraft loading.Will you be able to meet the restrictions?Is the weight and balance within limits?

Tell me how you'll adjust your route if the weather is bad.Make sure the weather hasn't changed before you leave.
