This course is a yearlong, college level exploration of the principles of design as expressed through digital photography. AP Photography is not a course based on a written examination; instead you will create a portfolio for submission to the College Board in May.
The works of art that you submit in your Portfolio must be your original creations. If you incorporate artwork, photographs, images, or other content created by someone else (“pre-existing work”), you must show substantial and significant development beyond duplication.

Can I submit digital art for AP drawing?
The AP Drawing portfolio is as follows. For example, you may submit a drawing (analog and digital), a painting, a printmaking, or a mixed media project. Videos aren't allowed in the contest. Still images can be derived from videos or films, or composite images can be submitted.
Can anyone use an AP photo?
