The University of Southern Indiana began as a regional campus of Indiana State University, opening on September 15, 1965. In 1967, Southern Indiana Higher Education, Inc., (SIHE) raised nearly $1 million to acquire 1,400 acres for the Mid-America University Center.

What is flex money at USI?
Flex Dollars are purchased at the Eagle Access Card Office. This money is non-taxable for food purchases and is not enriched. It can be used in food service operations, the bookstore, copy/printing services and laundry. These funds do not expire.
All funds left at the end of the spring semester will be forfeited. All meal plan changes must be emailed to foodmealplans@usi.edu from a USI email address. Munch money spends like cash at all locations. Funds may be used for food items as well as merchandise at Starbucks* and the Eagle Express Convenience store.
How do I downgrade my Cornell meal plan?
To cancel, contact dining@cornell.edu. Students who join and/or move to fraternities or sororities during the spring semester cannot cancel meal plans, but are permitted to reduce their meal plans. Change requests must include written verification from the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs.
What is munch money at USI?
Munch Money / Dining Dollars can be used anytime, anywhere for food service during hours of operation. Red, White and Blue plans are available for anyone who wants it all, wants the convenience of having meals planned for them, or are a must for those living in a Residence Hall.
Does Munch money roll over?
A: Munch Money that is not used by the end of the semester does not roll over, it will expire.
How do I cancel my Umich meal plan?
