Walden Local Meat Co. is a monthly meat share, which brings 100 percent grass-fed and finished beef, pasture-raised pork, chicken and lamb, along with pasture-raised eggs, specialty sausages and grass-fed butter, to your doorstep. All the animals are raised on about 75 local farms in New England and New York.

What is a meat share?

A Family Friendly Farms' meat share is either a whole, half, or quarter animal, butchered and individually packed in vacuum sealed package. These packages include steaks, chops, ribs, roasts, and ground products.

How much does a half a side of beef cost?

Half- or full-cow prices: $3.95 – $5.50 per pound. Processing fee: $0.50 per pound.

Walden partners with local farmers who raise grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork and chicken following the highest standards. As a whole animal program, we distribute all of the cuts from these animals across our member base.
