You cant mount the magnifier before the red dot. Since the magnifier is really a magnified scope , you need to worry about eye relief. Mounting it in the front will not work. You can but it would not be practical and you shouldn't with any prism scope. Since this is a scope, you need to adjust the aperture to your eye. If you use a magnifier, you need to adjust the aperture again and then magnifier. This is a slow process and defeats the purpose.
