Authorities on Monday said a butane honey oil lab caused an explosion and fire that injured two residents in a Fallbrook apartment Sunday afternoon. One of the residents, a 34-year-old man, was badly burned and airlifted to UC San Diego's Regional Burn Center. His prognosis was unknown Monday, sheriff's officials said.20 sept 2021

Where is the fire in Vista?

The fire was burning near Spur Avenue and Hutchingson Street in unincorporated Vista, east of Guajome Park and south of state Route 76. The Oceanside Police Department said the fire closed eastbound SR-76 at Melrose and asked drivers to find alternate routes through the city. The roadway was reopened at about 3:45 p.m.30 sept 2021
