Between USAA accounts: Transfers made on weekdays before 9 p.m. CT are available immediately. Transfers made after 9 p.m., on the weekend or on federal holidays are available only for ATM withdrawals and one-time purchases until the next business day.
Can USAA release funds early?
Has USAA considered changing its policy and releasing direct deposit funds earlier? Yes. We consider our members' needs when reviewing our policies. However, most active-duty members we've surveyed have told us they prefer to get their pay on a consistent and predictable schedule — one day before payday.
How long does it take for a check to be clear?
Most checks take two business days to clear. Checks may take longer to clear based on the amount of the check, your relationship with the bank, or if it's not a regular deposit. A receipt from the teller or ATM tells you when the funds become available.
Does USAA show pending deposits?
You would switch banks because you cant see a pending deposit? Usaa generally doesn't hold deposits for as long as other banks so it's usually an unnecessary step to check pending deposits.
