Trade Secrets Banned & Staff of Domination Unbanned in Commander/EDH April 2013 Rules Update. Trade Secrets is much like Limited Resources in that has some issues in a multiplayer environment. It isn't a problem when one player draws four cards and another draws eight.

Is upheaval banned in EDH?
Upheaval is banned because the effect is too powerful when its on a single card that requires no setup and costs six mana. Its basically on the list for the same reason as Biorhythm, Sway of the Stars, Worldfire, and Coalition Victory.
